  • Anyone want to buy a guitar?

I've been restoring this and am very pleased. Just wanted to show it off in all it's cheesiness really. Unless someone does want to buy it.....

What is it? Looks a bit like a Hofner Galaxie to me.

    Very nice job indeed.

Got any more details on it? Looks a wee bit like a Fender Jaguar or Jazzmaster or something...

It's an Eko 500 (from 1964). I've got weird Swedish bass, Japanese acoustic and extremely odd British stereo 12 string to get sorted next.....

Oh, and how much would be down to 'the market' but it would be over £500. It's not for sale just yet.....

And, yes, it was supposed to look like a Jaguar when it came out.

I know nothing about them. However, by the condition it would appear you have done a great job bring it back to life and that I can admire.

I know nothing about guitars - pretty though!

How much wiring is there to those selector switches?! They're what made me think Hofner.

What make is the 12 string? It's not a Shergold by any chance is it?

It's not actually that bad. The switches just control combinations of pickups and are helpfully numbered so you can follow them.

The 12 string is made by Vox and will look like this. Now that's tricky wiring.....

                  That's a rarity!

I've got a black one one of these-but as with almost all Shergolds, the finish is cracked all over.

and a Westone Thunder 1a bass.

I've got an old Eko twelve string that needs some tlc.
                    Are parts easily available?

What size tyres could I fit if I raise the neck 2"
