Winter pack

Hi all, just another quick question. What exactly does the winter pack include? Does it include a lift kit? The reason i ask, i had a pajero with a winter pack and it included a 2 inch lift fitted as standard.

The winter pack is the twin battery setup with rear heater and on some the heated fuel primer.
The lift kits are optional extra's and nothing to do with winter packs and thats to go for the mitsi's aswell

Ah, i always thought it was standard on the mitsi's with a winter pack. I'm about to lift my surf 2", but didnt know if it was going to get complicated if it was already lifted slightly.

depends if you are doing a suspension lift or body lift really.Neither are complicated for a 2" lift though.If you post up pics of the suspension and through the rear wheel arches of the gap between the chasis and body we'll tell you if it's lifted or not

my 3rd gen has the winter pack and has:

1. twin batteries
2. second heater for rear passengers
3. fuel primer heater
4. heated mirrors (come on with the heated rear screen)

no lift, think it was all around beefing up various electrical bits & bobs to make living in artic Japan easier

From what i read up on the winter packs were fitted to the trucks that were in Northern Japan as that's the colder area

i have 2 batts,rear heaters,no heated fuel line though,can you add this,what does it take

I think most of the heated fuel primers are now knackered and the normal ones fitted.If you haven't got the heated primer then you won't be able to fit one as the electrics aren't there,unless you can fab up a wiring kit for one

nah,not worth the hassle,the gain is only cold starting made easier anyway isnt it
