  • Tyre pressures 1989 2.4 TD

Can anybody tell me the tyre pressures on my 1989 2.4 TD.
    I am on all terrain 215 x 80 x15 tyres.

Somebody told me 45psi is this right??

    Thanks

you should be able to float on water with that pressure in them

something around 28 to 32 psi depending on how firm you want the ride

    I personally run 32 psi
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

45PSI is a bit high. Do some research on the 4PSI rule for the ideal pressure.

If you're interested you can download this US "Replacemect Tire Selection Manual" which lists the load and inflation tables for every tyre size. You can calculate what pressure a different size replacement tyre should be to carry the same load.
The charts start on page 28

Yes, but how do you know your gauge is reading correctly?
