advice on this weird problem

when jump starting the truck last week the rev counter dropped to the bottom{pointing down},i nipped in a minit and im not sure if the lad who was putting em on{lukenemma}put them on the wrong terminal,what could cause this,its not working now either,is there a fuse for the rev counter

its the ignition fuse you will have blown it
nothing wrong done it my self

yeah fuse was blown but the needle must have gone all the way round cos its stuck under the bit it should rest on now
