Finally got around to fitting them this morning (first time I've been outside in 10 days due to swine flu!)
I must admit they are definitely brighter and more red than the previous normal filament type bulbs that I had in.
I'll post some pics up later as the sun is shining at the moment, a rare occurence!
hello jim
just been reading your post about led stop and tail lights noticed yours were tower bulbs, the ones i had in mine were not tower bulbs they were described as 18 led stop and tails, anyway a little while after i fitted mine i started to get a prob with cruise control, symptons were if i was using cruise control and i turned lights on then cruise switched off immediately it was a good while before an auto spark sorted it for me, it was the led bulbs in rear lights, according to auto spark they were not pulling enough power from system, so replaced them with ordinary bulbs but red coloured stop and tails, prob sorted, just a bit of a heads up in case you get any chew and start wasting hours checking your cruise control like me.
Guessing the cruise control uses the brake light switch as one of its commands to disengage cruise.. it must do a circuit check (current flowing ) to ensure the brake light switch is working..
I received mine today! I asked the seller a question earlier in the week though just to enquire when I could expect delivery and that I understand sometimes delivery can take a little longer and I'm okay with that, but just wanted to get an idea. He said there was a delay but dont worry they are coming from Hong Kong and to be patient.
When I received them, the postage mark was Bristol, England ??
Anyways, I counted and there are 30 LEDs on these things. One thing though, the bottom of them are just like a spade fitting. How does this fit in the original bulb holder in the cluster? I can't go out now, it's dark!

Um, the bulb holders are spade fittings. You do have a 3rd gen don't you? Otherwise they won't fit mate!
