Counterfit parts

I'm battling an eBay seller at the moment, I bought some Bosch wiper blades £ 13.00 each only to have £1.50 cheap tacky counterfeit blades delivered...

But its a big problem, the more I dig I have heard some real horror stories about brake parts and other critical components ..(brake shoes made of a cat litter compound) being flogged ....buyer beware

Or, dare I say it, HALFORDS. At least you can take something back to them if it's crap. Problem with ebay is there are too many scammers on there.

I bought a load of stuff from roughtrax yesterday including wiperblades that were £5.50 each and they are the second batch I've used from them and they are really good! I find it quite unsettling that this fake crap is on the Market especially brake parts,these machines need good pads to stop em in an emergency!!!!

Too many to list mate...eBay...components are marked up a genuine, the packaging looks genuine...the blades were for my BMW...
I am on a BMW forum and its a problem..

when you get them...they just don't feel right..

Bought new blades for Surf at Lidel.. £4.00 really good quality..

Don't buy items like that from ebay. its not worth the risk.

Need new brakes all round for mine, callipers discs pads and shoes, genuine Toyota parts came out at £600 including labour.
With a bit of internet searching the garage I use got it down to £450.
Not cheap but a fair price for the job, genuine Toyota parts £32 per hour labour.
Don't think I would get any better.
Have used the garage for years and trust there judgment.

If they're counterfeit, eBay will get your money back quick as a flash as its them culpable if counterfeit goods are being sold on their site.

George, Toyota wipers wont fit a BMW...
