They aren't easy to spot! I was caught and I thought I was careful... I do recall thinking that my card didn't come out, of a machine, as far as it usually did; but thought no more of it until the Brazil incident.

The one bit of advice I can give is this; if it feels or seems funny, report it; just in case...

As a Security Professional in a Bank I always tap the card slot before i put my card in, or even better use the on site machines to get cash out which I know not many people can enjoy that kind of privilage.

Just a quick tap with your Nuckle and you can detect that something is wrong, if it looks wrong or diffrent in anyway move on!

I think there is a video camera in that device that records (not transmit).

The biggest thing I think is to shield the keyboard as you enter your pin, I put my wallet over my hand as i tap in my pin
