Ooooo.... Watches.... I have a big weak spot for a good watch. Treated myself to an Omega ten years ago. Best thing I did. Had a similar Seiko when I was young. Looks like they are fashionable again.
    .... Which was nice.

By coincidence, a few of the guys from work have all bought Seiko Prospex Flightmasters. They're almost as common as Audi TT GTs and Z4s down there.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Nice watch but not in my price range.
There are just so many nice Seiko around the 200 to 700 mark.
Have my eye on a really nice one for Santa list.

          'O' cheers Mick.

They all, independantly (which is the wierd bit), bought them from Crockets (I think, the one next to the steeple?) in Falkirk. All bought on 2 years IFC. It's a cracking looking watch, but kind of common now.

Had a look at the add and it is as advertised date wise, Oct 1976 and it was 1706th watch of that model made that month according to the visible serial number on the back.

                  I say buy it

From experience, the more you spend on a watch... the more aggro you get from it.... I have proved this to myself twice!

I spend more to have one of my watches serviced than most of my other watches cost to buy!

I`ve got a phone, its got a clock on it, there`s a clock in the car as well as one on the milk float, there`s a couple of churches nearby with clocks on them, there`s timepieces of various kinds all over the gaff.
If my life depended on split second timing and there was none of the above means of telling the time then maybe i`d throw £20 at a watch anything else is just vanity.
There`s a shedload of various charities out there that could do with money and i`m not talking supporting bum`s here, i`m talking genuine people who are in shit through no fault of their own. for feck`s sake, people are starving to death in this world and all i`m seeing here is "My Dick is so big i have to carry it round in a wheelbarrow"
And yep, if i`ve got any spare cash i dont buy a bigger barrow, i give it to someone who needs it
                              Controversial eh
