  • Road tax.

    Just thought I'd mention, just payed £205 for a years rent on the 3rd gen.
    It's a 2001 model, so if anyone is paying more than that (and there are a few) for their Surfs, then you're bally fools!

    i paid £112 yesterday for 6 months for my 1999 3rd gen and the same for Lucifer aswell

      wish road tax was that cheap over here...1200euro for the yr for the 3rd gen,

                    That doesn't apply to them.

                    They are the DVLA, they can make it up to suit themselves, and your position is either accept or don't use the road.

                      The manufacture date is on the seatbelt tag for starters. The chassis number will be on Toyota's records to confirm the manufacture date.
                      They need to be shown the difference between manufacture and import dates.

                      But as with most companies these days, it all depends on whom you talk to at the time, or whether you're a submissive type.
