Scimitar's subject to an upgrade program at the mo.

Ocelot was Ocelot when we had it. Foxhound's the name of a rather cool Russian Cold War fighter - people will get confused.

Found out today I've got a few more days at Warminster and Bovi next month. Another few nights in the Lulworth Cove Hotel drinking Badger then... damn.

Land Rover Defender 110 CSW with a 300TDI and R380 gearbox, in red with a white roof, "the best 4x4xfar". I would rather have it than the 4runner.

You have no elbows then? And enjoy the feeling of one foot burning and one foot freezing? Oh, and the fun of your headlamps going off in the middle of no-where due to the headlamp switch exploding? And lest I forget, the wipers stopping, in the middle of the night (when the lamps have already given up) and its peeing down?

Yep, LR Defender, its a great truck...

(All those things happened to me in a 110 we used to use at work - the lights failing in the middle of Salisbury Plain - an Army range - at around 2AM one february)

I'd have a one off, stein built special, with all the available goodies (difflocks,SFA,MAHOOSIVE sus lift, gimp mask etc) and I'd then have it trailered to vince. He would retro fit a 3uzfe (the, I beleive, bi turbo). I would then take it to a REPUTABLE. Paint sprayer (no bag ladies pubes etc), and up to apache for some stickerage. I would then drive it to drumclog and have a splendid time.

BUT you can open a bottle of beer on any part of the interior where two panels meet.

i drive with the window down and heater on full but even so i never had a problem on where to put my elbow, and the trick is to bore out the hole in the bulkhead because it restricts hot air flow My NAS Truck didnt do any of those things, but i will report back when i get a 110 300TDI.

Was'nt going to bother, but I thought "what the hell". Ok, so I'd find a nice rust free, low milege top UK spec 4Runner, then I'd fit aircon, rear heater, cup holders, auto transmission, rear mounted spare, chrome door handles, mirror backs and windscreen trim, daft little mirror on the front wing, sun visor cards in a language that I could'nt read.......etc. etc. etc.....Cheers....Mick.
