Dodo Juice is incredible. I used it all the time (and McGuiars Carnuaba) when i had my M3.
Worth every penny. If you are a nerd when it comes to valeting your car like i am, then i promise you will not be disappointed! So much so, cos've my recommendation, i would pay for it for you if you weren't impressed!!

There is one on there for £95. What sort of crazy person would pay half that even? I moan about the £19 Victoria wax but i've had it ages. Will probably last a year or two. Meguiars liquid wouldnt last that long and goes powdery.

Kind of, only a brazilian leaves a sticky residue.

Yes but it's posh and stuck up.

So judging by the photo on that website, a polish costing just under £50 achieves the same results as the bottle of £8.99 polish that I use??

'Orange peel' paintwork will still look 'orange peely' whatever polish is used on it.

Why do you have orange peel?

I must admit though, the crap I've bought from halfords in the past is nothing compared to the Victoria wax I use now. I was reluctant to spend the £20 on that pot. I fell backwards off my chair when I read £50 for the other wax and up. Victoria wax, no dust, no hassle to buff, no white bits on your black bits and lasts a lot longer than the 400ml bottle or so I used to buy!

All vehicles leave the factory with 'orange peel' paintwork, just look closely at the reflections.

A £50 tub of polish is only worthy of top Dollar paintjob, i.e. paint that has been cut back between coats to produce a glass-like finish with no clearcoat.

Well, no. Just liberal amounts of the cheap stuff should do it.
