  • Can i just run this by the experts please.

Been looking for a new temp gauge to make sure the truck stays in tip top condition & thought this would be ok to fit?

    What do you think.
If its not broke don't fix it.

I'd go for one (and did) that clearly shows more temp incriments, the more detail the better.
The reason for fitting one is because the surf gauge is crap and fitting an aftermarket one with a poor readout really doesn't help.

Don't be swayed by it's multicolours, it's def more important to be clear and easy to read.

This one has multi colours (if you really must) but the dial is laid out better.

A bit more expensive but still buttons compared to 'proper' gauges.

Ye but if it can save my head then im happy.

May be a silly question but can you have both gauges working at the same time?

Where did you mount them vince?
Was thinking about a pilar pod & fitting a battery gauge aswell.

I looked at those too but figured they wouldn't be very "in keeping" with the rest of the dash ect, I went for these in the end as I have put blue leds in behind the clocks and such, very clear and good quality, also, you only need one power lead to go to one gauge as the second one will take it's power from the first using a supplied lead (I suspect the ones Vince showed you are the same). Just makes life that little bit easier when installing.
