  • legal advice please???

You are all very harsh, however some of your comments are just what I needed!!!! Back to calm and keep doing my best to be a better person!!!

Be good to have a week where I don't need the truck and park outside his house for a week. Think of the fuel I'd save!!!!

    Fresh morning, fresh head!

    Cheers all

If I were you, I'd delete this thread and start again with what you want to know.

Yes it's an RT offence, yes it's vandalism and yes I'd knock 7 pails of shite out of you if you did that to me.

Haha, if you were him I could so kick your ass! I have no wish to be a ###### or a vandal, I mainly ask because if I was left with nowhere alse to park and used said spot he could quite rightly block me in and to which I would politely ask him to move. But if refused what do I do?? Ring the police ant wait patiently for them to resolve the dispute?

You will be fine, trust me. Just shove it out of the way.

Nothing will come of it, I've seen 'police, camera, action' you just end up with a supervision order.

Off the public highway, when i was a lad, got done and insurance paid out for a head on (gentle) bump when the other party effectively slid into me on a gravel drive (1/2 mile long) nothingh I could do, and I thought, seeing as it was off road, the insurance wouldn't be concerned. I was wrong.

But, I would just push him off the road anyway! Good luck

Considering you live in the same street is it worth it?

Park wherever you want. Dont vandalise other peoples property, leave enough room for your "exit manouver". And go about your own business while he has a problem with himself about your mode of transport.

Not necessarily. I have a neighbour who if I park near his house (doesn't matter if it's the surf or the mondeo), he'll put his vehicles six inches off both of my bumpers, so I have to manouver to get out, and if mother is out he'll put his wifes car in front of our house.

I did leave the surf outside his house for a week once to punish him, but it just incovienianced me more, so I just live with it. He's a nice enougth bloke regarding everything else, so I try not to park near his house (he's two houses down from me), and if I think I'm getting close I park badly near another neighbours car so he can only block one side.

Blimey, imagine if the rest of your street were like him, you wouldn't want to park anywhere!

Do what I do if I can't park in my street, park round the corner or in the next street. Nobody has the sole right to on-street parking outside their house.

Nobody is allowed to block anybody in if it's a public place. And yes, you should report him and wait for the police. You were 100% in the wrong when you 'moved' his car.
