your area is sat on.
so any info of this kind is what iam after

the scottish lot are of intrest to me very much too
and so is cumberland has iam an anserter of the cumberland family.
cornwall is also of intrest to me for many reasons mainly geology reasons.
iam realy intrested in the local history and geology of anywere realy.

but those areas are of intrest to me any local folk tails that you may know of is also of intrest.
iam just after has much infor has possible.

so if any one has a proper answer i would be very thankfull.

I remember a large gold nugget found in the Teign estuary (Devon) about 30 years ago.

There was also a small Gold mine not far away from where i lived in Exeter.

Devon has a great variety of geological characteristics, Many more than Cornwall.

Eg there is an old bomber that went down in the war and was never located story has it it got shot down and hit a pylon the plane dug it self deep and has never been found there's lots of records about it and a few locations it is supposedly resting at if thats the sort of stuff your after.

What sort of period are you looking into? Plenty of bomb shelters around my way and Croydon airport is around the corner. Also plenty of Henry VIII buildings and that era.
