  • Has anyone got any experience of these tyres?

As the thread title, Mickey Thomson Baja ATZ's, am looking at the 305/70 16's, just wondered if anyone had tried them.

Bio hazard has used them Neal. They seemed to go wherever the loony wanted to go.

He's had Baja Claws hasn't he?

The ATZ's are an AT (!)

Are they the ones in the Silverline ad in TOR every month? If so, I was asking about them a few years ago before I got my BFGs, which seemed to be the recommendation. Is there a big price diff between the Mickey T's and the BFG ATs?

If not, personally, for an AT, BFG would get my money every time.

Morning Gra, yeah, I was pretty sure (as Andy says) Bio had the muds otherwise I'd have PM'd him to see what he thought, haven't noticed anyone else with Mickey T's.

Andy, yup they are the ones, I was just curious is all as I need to order up some 33's due to the impending lift this week/weekend, they do the BFG's in 285/75 16 and the Mickey T's in 305/70 16 (both technically 33's) and the latter are actually more expensive than the BFG's though.
There's also a small niggling in the back of my mind saying that the 285's having a slightly smaller cross section may suffer less rubbing issues (if there are going to be any) depending on offset....... blar blar blar, so on and so forth, you get the idea.

I had the MTs before but couldn't comment on ATs. The MTs were ok but not worth the money.
