      Looks very well-executed.

      Wonder about how it handles though - that looks like a mighty heavy lump up front; fine for 1/4 miles, but would kill it on a cone slalom. Which is perhaps why he's going to go down the one-motor-per-wheel route (IIRC the Tesla Roadster does this).

      Ultimately though, the car may be "Green" but was the eleccy needed to charge it generated in a "Green" way? You are just off-setting the pollution to the other end of the wire.

      I've worked with a few blokes who did the Morgan fuel cell car - that was very nicely done. We'll never have an entirely green way of covering long distances because public transport is flawed by carrying the public - all routes and stops are compromises. Plus, you may encounter feral unwashed sub-humans.

      I am sure the big oil companies are sitting on a raft of workable free-energy solutions which will never see the light of day until they have eked out every last penny from their investment in fossil fuels.
