how hard is it to fit a spare wheel carrier on a surf that aint got one ? hoping to get a new surf 2moro but it aint got one want to take the one off mine and put it on it

You need the brace out of the rear quarter to bolt it to. Easier to swap over whole tailgate as there's a bracing panel inside it. The lock mech will need work to make the old lock fit the new tailgate.

Need to cut out some metal in the new truck to fit the brace then re-weld it back in.

I've got the whole lot in my garage and decided it's not worth the effort.
