door lights

i am thinking about fitting lights to the bottom of the door frames to come on when door is opened to light up ground, i thought i saw a post on here a while ago about it but i can,t find anything about it, will also do the mod toyotatony done on the rear courtesy door lights at the same time, gonna have to source some thin lights to fit beetween door frame and sill, anyone done this

I also thought that some dull amber lights would like nice on the outside of the side steps.

you should be able to get some flat diffuser lights from a scrap yard off an up-market car, its the sort of light that you would find on a LS400 so the people who have broken one for the engine may have a pair laying about or still on the carcase.
