Help plz not for a surf but a Ford Fiesta

Hi All

I need to replace the reversing switch on my partners ford fiesta (1995 petrol manual) the haynes manual is fec in no use. What I need is a picture or diagram pointing out the location. I have search google but loads of crap ford forums with little help.

Much appreciated if anyone can help

its on the gear box
it looks like the same sort of switch that the door light use and a fridge door has

all fords are fekers for this
take it out push it in and out wd40 pop it back in jobs a good un
wife had a ford fezzy i had a p100 and mondayo
had to do this with all of them
after the reverse lights work fine

if its not the push in and out type
then you will need a new one

I will jack it up in the light and have another look then, as I cannot find anything that looks like those piccys. It's not like the truck you can't just roll uderneath and innspect it !!

its in a high bit of the gearbox its about 3/4 the way up the side
from memery its the drivers side
but they are different

It's on the gearbox at the end of the shift linkage.
