Yep George, fish do fart - well pass bubbles our of their little fishy botties anyway. I used to keep a couple of tanks of piscine friends and they used to produce bum burps quite frequently.

Do you know what's always puzzled me? The sign on shop doors, the one that says "Guide dogs only", or something similar. Who is that for?

They are for fully sighted people who have dogs. There is no difficulty in people who are blind being unable to read the sign, because their dogs are allowed in.

Apparently so, but I'm going on 2nd hand information; I've never been there...

Why do drive up ATMs, in the States, have braille keypads?

Because it makes no economic sense for the manufacturers of ATMs to make different keypads for those few ATMs that are designed for drive-throughs. And yes, they have drive-through everything in the States. Obviously I would never generalise about very serious issues like national obesity levels, but there is even an advert on TV for the Taco-Bell "drive-thru" diet.

That does sort of make sense I suppose. It could be very dangerous if mis-construed though! I wouldn't imagine an inflated bladder would be too comfortable!!

I've been to the states a few times. We, at some stage, end up in the Midwest.
I didn't do a drive through anything, but I did end up taking my bro in law to work a few times. Stopping for the morning coffee, all I can say is...make it lots stronger please. It's much,much to weak. The only decent coffee I got, was the one I made myself.
