  • Jeep woes....

Well, as some of you on here know, I sold my Surf and bought a 2.7CRD Jeep Grand Cherokee....and after it getting stuck on our drive in the snow, and me breaking the rear bumper as I drove backwards over a small bush when trying to get it out of the snow, well - it's gone wrong.....

    Horribly wrong.....

The dash tweeter on the passenger side has been making a terrible noise....rattling like mad...

So, I took the top of the dash off (2 min job), took the speak out, stuffed some rolled up card in it, put it back in. Job done, from fault finding to resolution in less than 10 mins...back to listening to Adele...

Oh yeah, and taking the stereo out is a 5 min job....no need to remove half the dash...

So your shiny posh jeep is already falling to bits? If a little tweeter mounted out of harm's way has already gone, what must be happening to all the moving parts that are under constant strain???

hehe, we'll remind him of this thread when the t/case falls to bits, and all the electrics start smoking.

Adele? Sounds like there's still something wrong there mate. You have some porky, nasal sounding chavvy talentless bird stuck in your dashboard somewhere...
