How do I tell the difference?

Firsly, thanks for your responses to my other questions!

Now I have another question........

How do I tell the difference between a petrol 2.7 and a 3.4 by looking at it?

A 3.4 will say V6 on the back. Othewise, open the bonnet. If it's got four spark plugs in a row, it's a 2.7. If it's got two rows of three, it's a 3.4.
