  • Door control ECU - 3rd gen

    Where is it??

Just took drivers footwell kick panel off (where it is on 2nd gen) to find ABS ECU...

Centre console = airbag ECU and something else other than door control. Nothing under the drivers seat either.

I suppose I might find the lock / unlock trigger wires elsewhere, but where?

I can't fix the stereo speakers, so you will need to wait for others to get up mucker.

Not until tonight for me mate! Too many cool nerdy things to do to the truck!

Here's one Yoshie+ can probably help with... How many, and where are the bolts for the drivers side wing on a 3rd gen? I need to take that off for something else. Just gathering info at the mo - its getting a bit damp for 'outside' jobs on the truck.

Sorry mate, never taken a 3rd gen apart, yet.

There's 3 or 4 obvious ones on the top, one behind the door seam, and one behind the bumper that I can see. There's bound to be a couple more under the arch trim. Can wait for a drier day I think! I dont have the luxury of cover here.

Right, on with the central locking!

No problem mate, can't help with the wing though, I too haven't needed to remove one yet. I also need some decent weather, the list of things to do on the truck is ever growing .
