I have a Garmin Nuvi which needs a new battery and I don't fancy sending it in. Was it easy enough to do? Where did you source your battery?

Mine's not much better but it's the original Tom Tom Go so it's seen a bit of use !

Mine was losing it's location memory, so on startup was having to locate itself again (takes about 5 minutes) rather than already knowing where it is.

There's probably other symptoms too though.

I got battery from eBay after getting the old one out to ID it.

My sat nav can roll fags, pass coffee, insert munchies and wash up...
Her battery went flat years ago but she still functions to a degree.....

Was pondering the other day with all these posh phones about with
gps, fm radio and audio mp3 players in them, wouldn't it be easier to get a simple amp and a good cradle and use your phone to do all the work ?????
rather than install a sat nav and a cd player, you can probly get a scanner app by now, just have the one phone does all....
