I have a set here Ian, but I'll have to ask the owner if he's selling them first.
He's replacing them with a digital dash from Dakota digital.

OK Vince, thanks, i'll wait to hear from you, Richards sending me a replacement dials unit, had enough of the led stuff, many have blown and i'm sure thats were the drain was, since disconnecting everything my batterys seem to be holding charge better, (got no indicators now so i've cut summat i shouldn't have

This digital dash sounds expensive, is it a replacement for a surf dash or for the lexus one?

I could stand corrected here, but are these actual plasma devices? All the plasma instrument displays I know of are reasonably bulky & require a couple of hundred volts to fire them. I'm curious.

These are "paper thin" things, dont ask me how they work but you just connect em up to the original dash lights feed/neg

there more electro illuminescent rather than plasma itself, its the plasma glow that it gives off rather than being plasma filled. i found that out after i fitted them and posted the results on here

Right, this is thin film electroluminescent sheet then, not plasma. I did wonder. My brothers Dodge Charger had EL dials. EL panels are/were used by several guitar amp manufacturers on front panels - it looked quite erie.

the ones vince has are from lexurf v, as soon as i get the truck back from him ill get the new digital dash fitted (i have it here ready to fit).
yw to the plasma set - you can have the whole dash unit if you want it - itll save you fitting time and just be a straight swap over.

That would be great Gary, pm me how much inc post etc, if thats definate i'll let Stormy know not to send me a unit, originally i fitted loads of different colour led's in my unit, the idea was to be able to switch the dash illumation to different colours or any combination, it worked well for ages but now quite a few have gone so i have to have several colours on to light the thing up,plus the power drain issue, i think it was somewhere in this mass of led's and wires, since disconnecting it all the batterys are holding a charge ok,
theres no rush at all as i'm stripping out most of my stuff and starting again but not so many led stuff as before, i'll leave my old unit in so i can use the truck till i recieve your, thanks very much to you and Vince for letting me know,
that digital set your fitting looks good but well out of my price range,
                          cheer's ian

no problem as soon as i get the truck ill need a week to sort it out then ill organise sending the unit to you.
the link vince gave isnt the one im using - i got the speedo/rev counter unit which is half that price , i bought a set of blue digital gauges on e-bay for the rest of it.

i'd like to see it when it's all installed, from what Vince was saying i thought you were fitting it into the original clock unit, or is it just the surround your useing?
