Only just started but yes! my son's watch'd both and reccons band of brothers is slightly better as you follow a small group of GI's and get to know them whereas in the pacific the chraictors change, however it's really good, also got the book(pacific) for xmas, written by a survivor who'd charictor in the film looks very much like him (when he was younger of course)
