Just remembered I collect Astronaut / noteable people in the Space programme biographies. I have around 30 or so. Also have a collection of Mission patches. I have all of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo patches, and a few of the more important Shuttle mission patches.
Hope to have them mounted and framed one day. I nearly bought a genuine framed, signed photo of Armstrong / Aldrin / Collins when I was at Kennedy a few years ago for £300 but figured the missus would kill me. Turns out she wouldn't have done (she says). Doh! Might have been a nice investment as Neil A doesn't do autographs, and lets face it, they're all old men, and no-one else is going to be first again!Cutting steps in the roof of the world

Being a bit of an obsessive, I collect all sorts of stuff. Lots has been already mentioned (Roughtrax etc bills) but can add the following sad admissions;
Virtually every motorbike and car mag I have bought since 1975.
Bamboo plants - 120 different species and counting.
Slade music and memorabilia
Rusty Alfa parts.
and many more!!
Shaming isn't it!

Mark I have a bamboo in my garden. I have tried to kill it the past two years running, with the strongest weed killer I can find. I have dug up lots of it and still the fecker grows. Any suggestion on an easy way to kill this off.Brian

Yoshie - you have a tricky one.
Spray with any chemical containing Glyphosate (look in the small print on the label). Add a drop or two of washing up liquid to the mix which helps absoption into the leaves. Best time of year to spray would be July and again in mid September. Be aware that this chemical will kill pretty much any plant material it touches, so if the bamboo is mixed up with your prize roses......
Alternatively, wait for it to flower. Many bamboos die during flowering. It may take up to 100 years for it to start flowering though!!
Good luck,
Mark
