Finally got the MOT sorted and (more importantly?! 
) the Roughtrax 2" suspension lift kit is now fitted.
It no longer feels like I'm driving a bouncy castle around! The body roll has all but gone and it feels like it's glued to the road. In fact, it's almost frightening to realise how bad it was before...!
The height from centre of wheel to wheel arch at the rear has gone from just under 20 inches to about 22 inches. I'll measure it again in a few weeks once it has settled down.
Given that one of the MOT fail points was the passenger side headlight I decided to replace both headlights and replace the headlight bulbs. Big improvement there too. No more yellow headlights.
Still need to do the bodylift at some point when I get the time/assistance but I'm chuffed to bits with the effect of the suspension lift.
