First time post on this forum; just bought my LN130 2.4TD last week - thought I got a bargin til it overheated on Christmas Eve - Still for the first 150 miles of driving it I can honestly say it's one of the best motors I have had; 100 times better than the wifes BMW X5 in the snow!

Anyway, it's booked into the garage for a new head, timing belt, water pump, stat, full service and a few other bits and pieces, so it should be back on the road soon!

Will probably be posting a few threads in the future as i'm sure I will need some help with certain things.

Would be very interested in some off roading if anyone knows of events in the South East (I live in East Sussex)

Anyway, look forward to meeting some of you in the near future.

Once you get the head changed make sure it's filled with yota red coolant not water, then just look after the coolant system and she'll be fine mate!

I have ordered it from Rough Trax, and a load of other gear, just a bit concerned now that the mechanic I use is upto the job; I think the only burping he's done is after 10 pints and a curry with me on a Saturday night!

My parts bill with the head, service kit, new exhaust etc is just over £1200 so want it fitted correctly - Do you know any good garages round our way?
