It's fine, the first 250mile is fairly straight.
Graham can you make these dates?

There is hope for us, we appear to have almost agreed dates.

Looking forward to catching up. Trip title seems somehow very apt.
I will talk Alan into tagging along, bawbag is him to a tee.

I reckon I will be about 1000mile all in, if we include the nags visit before or after Wales.

That's not to far way from my last two Scottish road trips.

Well I am off on my tour, should be in Wales in time for lunch tomorrow. I might make the Nags by Sunday for an Ale. I expect to be home next Thursday all being well.

Gordon I might drop in on the way back North mate will give you a bell if I am.
Not sure yet as I might come home the East coast and up the A68 through Northumberland National Park and Jedbrugh.

You have my moby number Brian - give me a bell.

I was in the Nags last night with one of your countrymen (a customer at work at the mo). He was astounded by the quantity of quality beers there. His mate works for Kilburn Brewery. Do you know them?

Andy sorry mate have not been online until yesterday.
I am still down South, in Rugby at the min. I was in the Malvern hills at the weekend but never made the Nags as I was distracted by the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb {great day out} I will post some pics when I get home, which might be later today or Thursday.

Andy I did spot this however and thought you might like.

Some very nice cars there, including this lovely type 22 Lotus owned by a smashing guy who blethered away telling us all about it's history. He has owned it these last 30 years.

                      Another cracking fella happy to spend 20min telling my cousin all about his cracking race car. {drum brakes all round}

                      Other interesting metal

Some truely lovely old racing Jags and their matching vintage transporter.
Alan look at the makers tag, built in your place many moons ago.

                      OOPS

It can also be extremely beautiful.

This covers the full hillclimb season...

Usually get to Shelsley at least once a year - the weather looked manky last w/e so didn't. Prescott (nearer Cheltenham) is better from a spectating point of view, being more 'open'. Glad you had a good trip Brian, and yes, that's a lovely yellow Smart4two.
