A delightful descriptive Scottish slang term that has as many meanings as there are situations in which it may be used.

My favourite definition: Bawbag; ... One who likes to give it out but can't take it in return. When "called" on his "bawbaggedness", even in the spirit of politeness and friendship, resorts to childish rants and huffy comments forgetting that he has two ears and only one mouth for very good reason and apparently forgetting that his 10 fingers were never designed for talking.

Bawbag, what does it mean to you? Discuss if you wish. Ignore at your choice. The thread will not be closed by me. In the spirit of a Discussion forum, it takes more than one post to discuss anything

    Touché.

Perhaps you should take note of the comment regarding ten fingers not designed for typing...I have never washed my car, but then again I'm not in the least bit insecure.

I have no idea what this thread is on about - other than curry, beer and laning.

Brian, Tenbury Wells - about 20 mins away from me. Would be happy to provide contact details for nice B&Bs / hotels / recommend places to go / provide excellent BBQ food and company etc etc if you were to make a week of it. Thinking of bringing your wife?

I think bawbag is a word for a handbag. And there seem to be a lot of handbags in this thread amongst others.

Might bring the wife mate, or drop her at my cousins and then meet you and head to Wales. Will keep my options open and go with the flow.

It would be great to drag Andy south and meet up, maybe Graham will wear his christmas jumper to the pub.

                  In the summer??

I'll give Boyo a ring in the next week or so and see if he's up for something in April - May-ish sort of timescale? An invitational job.

I can't do May either, but September does sound like a plan.

You don't have a weekend spare till Sep! ffs what a pair.

Surely June is far enough away even for you to popular fellas to make arrangements.

Fcuk em Bri. We'll just do the Nags, curry, BBQ in May - and leave Gra to do his feckin usual rain-dance to make Wales sub-aqua in September!

I'm off to Lanzarote in May, so my 3 weekends off in that particular month are booked.
