Spent 11 hours gritting yesterday !!! Freezing rain !! 2" of solid ice on the 30 mile stretch of road. Made for some 'interesting' driving !!!

Cheers mate,hopr you and family had a great time as well. Never got my dinner till 7pm last night and got to open prezzies at 9pm

Still on call,snow ment to be coming in late afternoon,so will no doubt be out again !! The single track road we take to Col-Glen off road site is closed. No way i'm climbing those two hills with 2" of ice. Had to keep the main road open. Took me 9 hours to get main road done,which normaly takes 1 hour !!!
