homemade biofuel

Does anyone have a simple recipe and method of making biofuel at home using ethanol? I was reading about adding and removing a alkaline catalyst to remove the fatty acid from the fuel. I'm interested in saving money and have time and space. Will just need to source some used oil! Any help appreciated. Thanks
