    got a few teething probs with my surf..if anyone can help..heater takes ages to heat up(i know its a 20 year old car but in these tempratures its no fun.)anything i can do to improve the heat?,its a 2.4td and im only getting around 80-85 top speed is this about right? also i think im running a little rich as there is a little smoke when first starting and an oily residue in the snow where the tail pipe is.anyone shed any light on these points please.

    80-85 ...you must have the sports version... that's good for a 2.4 or even a 3

    how long does it take to heat up when your driving ?
