Hi All,
Can I just say an enormouse vote of thanks to Lucky. I've been in hospital for the last seven days having a by-pass operation on a problem artery in my right leg. I was finally discharged today but hit a problem in that the centre of Cheltenham was totally gridlocked, the roads hadn't been gritted and most taxis were fully booked or just not operating, plus there was no way my wife could drive her Corsa on the local roads (she's not happy driving my Surf and hasn't a clue how to drive in 4WD, so couldn't really bring mine out).
A call to Lucky to see if anyone from Glos 4x4 Response could help ended with him diverting to the hospital, collecting me & the Boss and dropping us off at home.
Thanks mate, you are a real star. Once I'm able to drive again I'll make sure I take you out for enough pints that you'll not be able to drive home legally.
