Ah, after doing a bit research i see these are normal garages, im after the cheaper 100% biosdiesel thats usually around 80p/l, i dont know if they sell this? i suspect it will be a blend and not much cheaper than normal diesel?...
im using £50-£60 a wk in normal diesel just round the doors so obviously biodiesel would be a lot cheaper to run it on

i used to work at a valeters a few years ago where we actually made our own biodiesel. the owner bought the kit for £2k and we made it in the workshop to run the vans on, it was pretty good! the vans ran sweeter on that than normal diesel, granted they smelt like a chip shop but who cares! as long as its mixed with around 5% petrol to help stop it gunking up when cold its usually pretty safe to use and is a lot cheaper than standard diesel. we used to run a normal tank of diesel after every 4 tank fulls of bio just to flush it all through.

I don't doubt most Bio is good but there are unscrupulous bio makers as some on here have found out !!

Just make your own, it can work out at about 20-30 ppl or cheaper if you can get free used oil. You can even make the reactor yourself for about £300 or so.

I make my own bio using free used oil - total cost is about 13p per litre.
saves me around £2500 a year based on current dino prices and doing 10k miles a year
In hard times i sometimes have to buy used veg oil at around 40ppl - making my cost go up to 53ppl.
I've ran my own 100% bio for over a year now and don't need to add petrol/deisel/additives even in low temps like -9'c last week.
                      All depends on your recipe/process.

Although you don't have space for a full blown bio plant - ever thought of using straight veg? even new at 70ppl can save you £30 every tank?
                      Everyone thinks I'm paranoid!!

Only place Ive seen selling Bio near here is at Witton Le Wear on th A68. Its way cheaper to buy Derv at the local supermarkets though. The only problem with the Surf is the £60+ that I put in the tank every week

Aren't you using a veggie / diesel mix mate? I think Costco veggie is only 78p per litre. A 70% diesel, 30% veggie normally runs okay, even in this weather.

Come the summer, 100% veggie for long runs!

Gotta agree with jacky cakes (Alistair) n Scorpion (Jim) it's gotta be worth a go at SVO (Straight Vegie oil) @ 48 litres a week ...

How about mixing heating oil with veg oil?
One time i actually used 50% heating oil and 50% hydraulic oil in my VW transporter and it seemed to run fine, dunno how the surf would take to that mix tho.
