Replacing Wing Indicators .....

...... on a 3rd gen. I take it you have to loosen or remove the under wing liner to gain access to them? I see they have a compressible clip that locks them in place so I assume you have to get to the back of them to release them.

It's an obvious answer I suppose, but if there's an easier way to remove them please let me know (although I doubt it!)

I think you can just press them to one side and carefully use a thin blade screwdriver to flip them out, thats how it works on the 2nd gen.

Thanks for that Alan, it didn't take 5 minutes that way!

I used some old plastic tongs to push down along the side of the wing and release the clip, it popped straight out after that.



It was then a simple matter of fitting a chrome bulb and twisting the clear indicator into place.



Clipped it back into the wing and job's a good un'.
