how rare are the 2nd gen manual's

I had a 2.4 auto first, now I have a 2.4 manual which I find has much more pulling power!! I had to replace the flywheel but its made it even better!!

Ive got one, had it for 6 years now, had to replace the head but going as well as ever..........

Mine had a new head a few years back before I got it!! Luckily not at my expense haha. The paperwork shows that the previous owner paid more to have a. New head fitted than I paid for the whole truck!!!

I had a 3ltr manual and this one was petrol it drank fuel like a drunk in an off licence.

It'd have to be diesel for me. Couldn't afford to run something like that. I see your in red ruth (ads surf) do you off road much around here?? I'm over in helston

Hi mate, not really but ive been tempted to go over to baldu nr threemilestone where they do open days really good track i took my old 2.4 there once and had a great laugh. Ive put so much effort, time and money into my 3.0l 2nd gen i am now im a little nervous of doing it again but hey if i went there again i proberly wouldnt be able to resist.

I've never been to baldhu, really want to but never had anyone to go with!! I know its sensible nexer to go without a tow!!! Lol. You got any pics of your truck?? Curious if I've seen it around? If you ever go again give me a shout cos I'll certainly be keen!

UP untill 2moths ago l had 3 1995 3litre Manuals now down to 2 but l still think they are good motors, i prefare the auto for offroad.BUT l need an automatic for my wife l have all the parts to change one of the to automatic but l would rather swop for an automatic than do all that work.

I'd be tempted to swap for a 3ltr manual, if you find someone with an auto who wants a 2.4 manual then we could do a three way swap!!
