If you want to talk to people in roughly the same timezone, you could do worse than also popping in at Yotatech. They know rather more about guns and high fives than they do about diesels, though.

Ya, I've joined yotatech, as well as toyota-4runner.org but you're right, they don't know their diesel tech the same way. I also found toyotasurf.asn.au for some surf specific info, and I've been a member of IH8MUD.COM for a while now, although that's geared heavily towards Landcruisers.
Well, I've now got my truck, passed safety, insured and plated it, and installed some new tires! I'm loving it so far! Went with 265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's, and they have been amazing on the snow packed residential streets compared to the Bridgestone Duelers the truck came with.
Everything is melting here so I'd have to snap pics at the carwash to have it clean, lol.

Good work - and some very fancy photo editing skills too. Now all you need is a shotgun rack and a moose strapped to the bonnet...
(Don't worry, no danger of ridiculous stereotyping in here... )

I'm not much of a hunter, but I do know you don't shoot moose with a shotgun, lol! My father in law does keep our freezer well stocked with wild game though, mostly deer and elk.
This truck will serve me well as a dog hauler, and weekend getaway-mobile, as well as a winter vehicle, and daily driver for most of the year. I also have a '99 Acura 1.6EL Premium (fancy civic) that I'll pull out for summer duty once in a while.
