            ????????

Hi i take it the car is still in Japan by the picture 1 of the dealers i use over there sends me pictures just like your one. If you are buying your self allow between £1500 to £2000 on top of what you pay for the car for shipping, import duty, VAT and registering it. Dont for get VAT is going up in the New Year,

            Regards Hilux-Bob

Thanks for all the good wishes!

Bob. this'll be my 2nd surf and my 4th import. I trust Algy and I'm getting a really GOOD deal. I've given him a max bid in yen, so by the time I get up in the morning I'll know either way! If you know how to import without going thru a dealr I'd be happy for some advice?

              Cheers

Do you reckon it'd be a sin if I sprayed the chrome on the bumpers blacK?

No, I filled and painted my front bumper black after a coming together with the rear step bumper of a (parked) Nissan Navara last Xmas!

Looking at importing a new one from the U.S.

Unless you could ask your importer to chuck one in the back of your truck for me before it's shipped. (2001 model by the way)

Hi Martin importing is what i used to do untill about 3 years ago when the shipping costing changed and put the price up around 50% which had a knock on effect on the import duty and the VAT. Its easy enough to import its just having the bottle to have ago.

Think he's on the plane to japan to go pick it up.
One hell of a road trip if he has.
If its not broke don't fix it.
