err..
It used to be white, there was white in it so left it at that.

I like to do things differently, Jap 4x4 - V8 - 35's - 3/4 elip springs - Bobtailed - seemed natural to take the pee out of all the green/drab camo'ed LR's on the offroad scene for their paint jobs as well as their offroad ability...

LOL, they were pretty cutting edge back then, it was all the rage on Pirate4x4 and worked really well once you fit a anti-tramp bar!
Was never sure how great an idea it was on the front, having loose rear shackles floating around bouncing off the chassis, but it sure had some flex offroad, had to have front prop made with extra long splines as it would fall apart at first.

Not sure about that bit about camo just being the same colour as and blending in with the background. Bright colours mixed with a dark contrast are also effective (look good too - to me anyway - my dogs come in that shade from new). Plenty examples in nature. It is not the fact that it is called "camo", it is the fact that it is a "disruptive pattern" and not all disruptive patterns have to be completely as the surrounding colours to work well. Loads of examples on serious camo research net sites too. "Maybe oneday all cars will be this way". Teehee..
Has anybody any experience of insurance companies trying to copout using camo as an excuse? Would be good to be aware of this kind of thing!

Personally I worry about people that aren't in the services and feel the need to wear camo or drive camo vehicles - it stinks of 'wanna be' ...
Obviously that doesn't apply to military preservation groups and the like (Although all the ones I've met are a little odd)
Life is too important to take seriously !
