radio dedication!!

One of our local radio stations dedicates its saturday music to a suggested worthy cause... Today someone suggested and succeeded in having it dedicated to 4x4 drivers who helped people during the cold spell we've had!! I'm pleased to say I did my bit taking some people shopping etc and its nice that people notice. So chin up to anyone who did at least 1 good deed and know your kindness has been noted

I pulled a few folk up and down hills this past few days. I've had offers of money for helping, proper heartfelt thanks and 1 person who just jumped out of their car, locked it and walked into their house. Didn't even take the shackle off or acknowledge the fact I'd just towed them for half a mile.

The thing is, it's that ignorant ba$tard that I'll remember next time the weather's bad, not the grateful ones.

I was sorely tempted to 'forget' it was still connected. A couple of her neighbours who were out clearing paths commented on it too. God knows what was wrong with her.
