  • Wheel rims ?

I'm after a set of 16 rims for my 3Gen, Preferable in decent condition but im not too bothered.

They are for fitting these http://www.vredestein.co.uk/Banden_B...&BandtypeID=59

I have fitted the snowtrac 3 ones to my other car and f#ck me they are superb!

Ide like to get a set for the surf but only want them for the winter hence the additional rims.

Anyone selling them on here or know of where i can get some cheep ones online?

    Thanks

If you're not going to use the tyres - a bit pricey. Having said that, narrow wheels / tyres are supposed to be a good plan in snow.

Besides the obvious, whats the difference with split rims, are they unsuitable for some tyres ? or is it just the rim design.

I was thinking about a set to put some AT tyres on for winter but have decided to just change my tyres and sell the road biased ones.

I'd buy those narrow ones, if they were closer, especially for snow driving. As Apache said narrow AT's are normally very good in the snow.

I'd use them during the winter and put my alloys back on once the snow has b*ggered off!

These seem to look ok, any reason they are listed a MK1 91 - 97 and not 3Gen.

Size seems the same as what I currently have
