They don't do it themselves, there are 'agencies' who use scraper/search software do it for them, as well as insurance companies, the dvla, etc. etc. etc., as Mr Siam would say.

It's very simple to do. At this time of year, when the weather is bad, they'll scour the 4x4 sites for idiots, in exactly the same way that they scour the 'boy racer' and 'bike forums in the summer.

We also have to contend with the woolie hat brigade too, they manually scour our forums, we know they do. They will love this type of thread. And as there's an admission of guilt in the 1st post, they could make a complaint to plod (they could even bend the truth and say they were in the car that was almost hit) and plod will have to act on it.

I once got cut up by an unmarked police car, no lights or sirens driving like an ########, when we got into traffic, i filtered past and kicked his mirror off and he chased me for 6 miles but didnt get close enogh to see my number plate

it was on aspen way e14 london and was about 2005 around 4pm on a weekday afternoon
