  • Another telly rant...

The news just showed a sign on the inside of a shop door, the sign said "Closed due to bad weather." Who put it there?

Another thing I've been curious about. If the weather is so bad that many villages are cut off and many roads are impassable; how come there's always a TV crew in the village to tell us about it?

And whilst I'm here, an 18 inch pile of snow deposited at the side of the road by a snow plough, does not constitute 18 inches of snowfall...
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

      A. If you can get an address or even just a town/village name Im sure a forum member will be able to find out for you.

      A. They were there waiting for a snow story.

      A. No but it does constitute an 18" pile of snow and most journalists are reluctant to let truth get in the way of a good story.

        Brilliant!

just wiping tea off the screen now.

We were watching the news earlier too, they were telling us how bad conditions are and how there's a lot of motorists having problems, people slipping on the ice and hurting them selves etc, etc.

Here's a thought, if there's a lot of snow and ice outside, stay in the feckin' house you idiots!!

And then they tell us how bad the snow is and how much more is expected in various parts of the UK, and then they say the weather person will tell us the situation at the end of the program.
Why, will the weather be totally different from what you say tomorrow then?!? Tw@s

You'd probably find BFG MTs are better on dog shit than the ATs as the MTs will self clean easier.

Are you saying that diff has gone again as well as another one with the gearbox or are we talking about one in the same vehicle here.

Got the recent diff back out...and the total tard driving it, took it on a 0-60 several times, and disabled the speed limiter...it broke up at nearly 90 mph mph on the m25...so much for running it in.

Eventually got the diff from Iowa. Got another complete one ordered this time.
I split the casing yesterday. The original pinion bearing collapse chewed up the casing where the main pinion bearing sat. This time it's cracked the whole assembley.
