I don't know about the 4runner lights, but I do know that a car doesn't have to have a fog light to pass an MOT. The rule is, if it has one, it has to work, but if there isn't one there at all, it doesn't matter. If you have an MOT coming up, I would remove any trace of the fog light then it won't be a problem.

Long term, do you have a rear mounted spare wheel? My fog light broke off instantly the first time I went off road, so I welded it on the bottom right of the frame of my spare wheel carrier:

Rav4 foglights can be cut in to the bumpers.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

A fog light is required to pass the MOT:

"The inspection of rear fog lamps is confined to the one rear fog lamp which is required to be fitted to the centre or offside of vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1980"

To answer the original question, yes, 4 runners have a fog light, but it is built into the tailgate. See here for an example:

I know if you have a spare wheel it has to be road worthy or it'll fail MOT but if you don't have one it will still pass. However I'm certain tou need a rear fog light by law. A bolt on fog kit from mill auto is only £5 so worth doing!!! Loving the mud on the truck pictured above

That's me told! I guess my Dodge doesn't qualify as it is pre-80, the advice I based that on was given regarding my '69 Dodge, didn't realise there was a cut-off year. Sorry about that, I honestly thought that was the case.

Under a fiver each from a car accessories shop.
Other tools needed are a scriber or pencil and a jigsaw with metal cutting blade 8mm drill bit and drill for the mounting bolt which is underneath facing the ground.

Nice job on the foglights, they look cool in the bumper. That light is the thing I like least about my truck, needs a new one for every MOT. Just fitted a new one but this time sealed with aquasure glue to make it water tight.

                          Cheers

It only needs to be fitted for MOT time, then removed.

True, also try heavy duty self adhesive velcro, have actually used this on 2 trucks for people its great, trim the bracket bit of a broken fog light, stick velcro on light and bumper.

Knock it off, stick it back on! Simples..
