We just got our first half inch over night, strange as we usually get lots more being so high up, near Emley moor TV mast. Just hope it ain't too bad yet as I haven't taxed the suf yet, as been busy with the Chevy all year. Lent the surf to son-in-law last year and only found out this month that the exhaust was totally gone, both batteries have had it and all four tyres were knack'd. Still got it MOT'd now and ready for the road.

Time to see if them General Grabber AT2's are much cop... (I have to go to work or they don't pay me). Work don't pay me, I mean. Not the tyres. That would be silly.

A light dusting this morning but they reckon we are in for a load in the next few days.

That will give me plenty of opportunity to get my 4wd stuck like last year, great fun !

No problems this morning. I had the outside lane of the carriageway to myself!

Just be sensible with speed and stopping distances.

finally a light dusting in Reading/Newbury

I'd be optimistic with the guess and say about 1/4" 3/8 at most

local radio station saying that its sever weather outside and warnings in place - dont go out if you dont need to etc..

So out i went, jumped int he truck, engaged 4wd and set off, got off my estate and then it was just liek a dull wet miserable day - every single road was clear - even went through backways to find a little on the roads - all roads are clear

so WTF are the radio on - sever weather warning - shandy supping southern jessies - I'd hate for it to acyually be bad round here, full on panic would set in

Had about 6 inches in here, West Yorks traffic is stupid, people braking down hills when the snow hasn't been cleared - best way to end up in some one elses garden or side of their vehicle.
Gritters been out today an not cleared road. I could swear his plough was 4 inches above the road.
Our raod cleared with the sun and heat melting it, even though temp never got above Zero Degrees C.
