Hubby wants a landrover? For £900?? Does he like lying on his back with rust in his eyes every Saturday morning?

TBH, less than a grand you're probably looking at doing work on whatever you buy, but on a Landrover, you're buying scrap.

Just in what is listed in the advert. Just looking at it, my gut says 'no', and experience says my gut doesn't lie.

I honestly dont think you'd buy that and get trouble free motoring. Wouldn't mind betting you'd be working on that the week after buying it.

The blue one doesn't ring as many bells for me, but its in Bude, which is a long way from West Wales.

Dont mind travelling to Bude if its a decent truck, It looks better than most i've seen. I've a budget of £1700, saw a mitsubishi shogan today lots of cosmetic rust, a land rover discovery which needed a weeks worth of welding. I want a hilux agin but the hubby reluctant to get an auto as my last hilux the box went and it was a shit to change it

For that budget you should be looking for a clean 3.0 2nd Gen...

                Surf - not 4Runner.

Sorry. I'm in all the threads.

                  Certainly wouldn't buy unseen.

Just had reply from seller in Bude. Head has been replaced in 2003 so its looking like a good option to buy

Got slated a few days ago by some "regulars" for being here for a while but only having a low post count.

I've just decided to spend a few days taking part. If anyone objects strongly I'll f*** off back under my rock (other sites)

It's going ok at moment, Even George is coming round....
