Rich how have you managed to get the training for free mate? I'm asking because i used to drive 7.5t but have never had the funds to go for class 2 or even class 1, so it might be beneficial in this economic climate to have something to fall back on.

Hiya Tony.Due to the accident on the railway 5 years ago i can't do manual physical work for long periods. As i was having to sign on for a little while i was on a one to one with a disability employment advisor (DEA) at the local jobcentre.Because i was finding it hard to find work due to the bit of a disbility i got with the nerve damage.
I was then put in touch with The St Loyes Foundation based in Exeter. They help to get people back into work that have disabilities or illnesses and get them trainned up and help them look/get a job at the end of the trainning. The only way you can get in with St Loyes and thats by the D.E.A and the jobcentre.
I am well impressed the the Foundation and the in house accomodation is great and all the staff treat you like a person and not like someone who's there to pay their wages

Well i am now recognised as being disabled due to a motorcycle accident so my employment capabilities are low at best due to the leg/foot/pelvic/spinal injuries so i'm in catch 22 i want to be in work but i'm not classed as a favourable employee due to my physical needs so at the moment i'm with pathways/maximus training but because of upcoming operations on my knee i've had to be deferred until early next year but i will enquire about this

Make sure you speak to a DEA though Tony as anyone else at the jobcentre will be of no use to you.If you want i'll see if i can find your local DEA if you let me know what jobcentre your registered with

Brilliant work! I had to drive a horse lorry the other day - first time I'd driven a lorry, and it had someone else's ###### expensive nag in the back. I was terrified. Driving a full on HGV must be another league.

                          Nice one!

Well done mate, get the full class 1 done, there is plenty of continental work out there if you want it, it keeps you away from the missus and pays you well for it too.

My brakes dont work, so i made the horn louder.
