When funds are short it's going to be a toss up which car to take to save money....

      The Surf or the 840!

If it helps, I wish I got 23MPG.

I always marvel at the fact my truck does 450km per tank (21mpg) regardless of how I drive it.

after the service i did a brim the tank full, travellled 150k and re-fileld tank to top at same petrol station, averaged 25.6 mpg (but that was a cruise on the motorway and A roads)

then a little off road and on the urban commute saw 19mpg average.. defo going to be more of an occasional use vehicle, they daily does 43mpg on the commute..

Its back to normal driving this week I drove her like a hearse never exceeding 65mph on motorways just to see what I could eek out, its just not worth it for an extra 1-2 mpg

TBH I think petrol is the way forward now with these trucks.

I can't be arsed with all this MPG fixation. I have a 2 step approach to fuelling.

Step 1 - Fill my truck's fuel tank to the brim - GoTo Step 2
Step 2 - Drive the truck around until it gets to around a quarter tank - GoTo Step 1

I have no idea how many miles I do between the fills.

If I thought I was filling it up too often, I'd sell it. But I don't, so I'm not.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's
